Emily has lived in East London all her life and has a part time job and three young children. She enjoys sewing, making and renovating small pieces of furniture and for the past few years has been part of the E17 Designers group showing at regular intervals in local venues. Having learnt to use a sewing machine at school, she requested one for her birthday about 10 years ago and has been creating bits and pieces ever since.  Emily also runs a craft club for Year 1 pupils at a local school, teaching them the basic skills of sewing.
